Anthony Dufresne Millennial Life Issues, Podcasts Leave a Comment

This week’s podcast episode is all about having the feeling of being in control of your life even though the world seems to be unraveling at the seams.

I share a very effective tool from the famous Stoic Philosopher, Marcus Aurelius, and 17 of his friends that can immediately provide higher levels of:

  • Self-Awareness
  • Context
  • Perspective

Marcus shared the tool on the first page of his book, “Meditations” and all you need is a pen, a piece of paper and a few good friends and mentors to refer to in times of crisis.

I also talk about how Stoic Philosophy was the foundation for the invention of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is one of the most effective forms of psychological therapy in use today.

With way too much focus being put on the extreme idiots of the world, it is really important to not get caught up in all of the negative energy.

But with a simple technique you can start using today, you’ll be able to break free of the fear and anxiety and become one of those people that other look up to…inspire to act and be like…you know…
