This week’s show is all about cheap Millennial gifts with massive amounts of value.

And, I also wanted to congratulate Christian for being the $50 Amazon Gift Card Winner for her show idea…tune in next month for the show.

I wanted to share with you some great gift giving ideas that are very inexpensive but have a ton of meaning and value.

Because, let’s be honest, gift giving has gone off the rails over the years and I think there are too many people out there that view gifts in the wrong light…it’s time we brought the meaning back to gift giving.

It’s not about the price tag or the latest trend or giving out of societal pressure or family guilt…it’s about giving something simple that shows that you value that person in your life.

So, I start the show off by mentioning that, to me, the best possible inexpensive gift with the most value is a good book.

Giving someone a book that has touched you just shows that you care enough about them and enriching their life as you do about your own and, since you got something out of the book, you are hoping they will as well.  And, the best part is, there are literally hundreds of thousands of books out there you can find and give that will cost you under $10.

I gave the following book gift suggestions based on my own preferences.  These are a few of the books that have really touched me or enlightened me:

  1. You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

  2. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

  3. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

  4. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

  5. Poke the Box by Seth Godin

  6. The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield

  7. Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl

  8. Surrounded by Idiots by…me (not available yet, but I take every chance to promote my upcoming release)

All of these books can be ordered on Half.com or Amazon.com for less than $10.

In addition to the book idea, I also float a number of other great inexpensive gifts with value ideas such as:

  1. Send a nice card
  2. Be a Re-Gifter
  3. Book of Coupons for your services
  4. The Gift of your gift
  5. A Shared Experience

The entire point of any of this is to be as personal as possible.  If you have listened well enough or paid attention enough when you were together with this person, then you will have some idea about the little things that mean a lot to that person.

Give Thoughtfully…I’ll see you next week!
